Sturdy Cabinets
Durable integral stamped grille and sixteen gauge steel end panels give added strength to quality built Unitaire IV.

Quiet Operation
Insulated front panels and resilient mounted motors keep noise levels at a minimum.

Low Energy Costs
Airtherm offers high efficiency PSC motors as standard on our units. These motors consume minimum power to keep operating costs low.

Accessibility
Two expansive 9" end pockets with removable panels allow easy access to piping and controls when installing and servicing.

Quality
Coils are made with 5/8" O.D. tubes and are positioned completely within coil housing to ensure uniform air flow and years of dependable service.

ARI Certification
All units are certified in accordance with ARI Standard 440.

IAQ
Sloped drain troughs and drain pans, outside air dampers, and coated insulation edges provide solutions for indoor air quality concerns.

Vertical Features

  • A special paint bonding process provides the sturdy cabinets with an attractive powder coat finish.
  • Our exclusive condensate removal system eliminates standing water, odors and decreases humidity.
  • Two 9" deep end pockets and removable panels provide easy access, saving time and money during installation and maintenance.
  • Resilient motor mounts and insulated discharge panels dampen air sounds for quiet operation.
  • Reversible coils give added flexibility when piping and installing units.

Horizontal Features

  • Horizontal units feature a sloped, continuous heavy gauge drain pan, insulated to prevent condensation. No additional auxiliary drain pans, drip lids or baffles are required. Drain pan is externally insulated to meet rigid IAQ requirements.
  • Coils and return bends are fully enclosed within an insulated coil compartment directing all coil output to the space being heated or cooled.
  • Fan deck is easily removed for service and accessibility to coil.
